• Never leave a candle unattended: This is the most important rule. 
• Keep candles away from flammables: This includes curtains, furniture, bedding, paper, and flammable decorations. 
• Keep candles out of reach of children and pets: They can be knocked over or used for play. 
• Use sturdy candle holders: Ensure they won't tip over easily. 
• Burn candles in intervals: Don't burn them for long periods at a time to avoid overheating the container or wax tunneling. 

• Trim the wick: Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each use. 
• Use a candle snuffer: This helps to prevent hot wax from splattering. 
• Extinguish candles properly: Blow them out or use a candle snuffer. 
• Don't burn a candle all the way down: Stop burning it when about 1/4 inch of wax remains. 
• Never use a candle as a night light: Avoid using candles in sleeping areas or when you may fall asleep. 
• Don't move a burning candle: Moving a burning candle can cause spills and burns. 
• Avoid using candles near drafts or vents: Drafts can cause the flame to flicker or burn erratically. 
• Keep matches and lighters out of reach of children: Store them in a safe, secure location. 

Always burn candles on a heat-resistant surface, away from anything flammable.Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.Never leave a burning candle unattended.Use a heat-proof dish or appropriate candle holder.Allow the candle to cool before touching or moving it.Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use to ensure a safe, even burn.Burn within sight and in a well-ventilated area.Do not burn the candle for more than 2 hours at a time.
