Bring a touch of romance to your daily ritual with Rose Bud, a luxurious bar soap inspired by freshly bloomed roses. Damask rose petals blend with bright citrus and a trace of earthy amber, creating a fragrance that feels both floral and modern. A subtle layer of warm musk lingers, leaving your skin delicately scented while the rich, creamy lather gently cleanses. Elegant and refreshing, this bar soap turns every wash into a moment of indulgence.

Size

8 oz.

How to use

Apply to wet hands or a washcloth, work into a rich lather for at least 20 seconds, then rinse well. Store on a draining dish between uses — tallow soap lasts considerably longer when it dries out fully between washes.

Good for

Hands and body, daily use. If you react to fragrance, our Pur line is made without fragrance oils or essential oils.

Good to know

Made in small batches, so slight variation in color and scent strength between batches is normal. New to tallow? Start with our honest guide to beef tallow for skin.

Key Features

Deeply Moisturizing

Beef tallow closely resembles the structure of human sebum, which allows it to absorb easily into the skin. That makes it an unusually moisturizing base for a bar soap, cleansing without leaving skin tight or stripped.

Rich in Skin-Loving Vitamins

Tallow naturally contains the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K. Because they are fat-soluble, they come along with the tallow itself rather than being added afterward.

Gentle and Non-Irritating

Free from harsh detergents and synthetic additives, beef tallow soap is a good fit for dry or easily irritated skin, including eczema-prone skin. It cleanses without disrupting your skin’s natural barrier.

Naturally Minimal Ingredients

Our tallow soaps are handcrafted from just a few simple ingredients: beef tallow, olive oil, lye, and a fragrance oil. A short list makes it easy to understand exactly what you are putting on your skin.

Sustainable and Waste-Reducing

Using beef tallow repurposes a traditional ingredient that would otherwise go to waste, supporting a full-use approach to animal processing.

Long-Lasting Use

Tallow-based soaps are dense and hard, making them more durable than many plant-based or commercial bars. They hold up well in the shower and last longer with daily use, giving you more value per bar.

Skin Test

Patch Test Instructions for Soap

To check compatibility with your skin, we recommend a patch test before full use:

  1. Apply a small amount of lather from the soap to a small area on the inside of your forearm.
  2. Leave it on for 15–30 minutes, then rinse with water.
  3. Wait 24 hours and observe the area for any signs of irritation, redness, or itching.
  4. If no reaction occurs, the soap is likely fine for regular use.
  5. Discontinue use if any discomfort or sensitivity appears.
